Doctor of Audiology
Terri Loewenthal, Au.D. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, cochlear implants, and cognitive hearing health services, in Swampscott and Peabody, MA.
Dr. Terri Loewenthal joined Atlantic Hearing Care in July of 2023. Dr. Loewenthal has dedicated over 36 years to providing hearing care services as an audiologist. In prior positions, she has worked at the Children’s Hospital Boston, the Joint Center for Otolaryngology, Hear USA (d.b.a. Thomas Fell Company), Dedham Medical Associates, and HearingLife.
Dr. Loewenthal completed her Doctorate in Audiology at A.T. Still University, her Master of Science in Audiology degree at Washington University, Central Institute for the Deaf, and her B.S. degree at Ithaca College.
Dr. Loewenthal provides hearing services locally through Atlantic Hearing Care’s non-profit affiliate the North Shore Hearing Foundation, which provides hearing aids and services to income-eligible adults and children.
Dr. Loewenthal remains active in the profession of audiology as a certificate of clinical competence in audiology holder from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is also a member of the Entheos Audiology Cooperative, a professional organization supporting independent private practices that maintain best practices and provide humanitarian hearing services.
In her free time, Dr. Loewenthal enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog. She is an avid cyclist, showing great dedication to riding in the PMC Challenge for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute each year.
